NYSUT ELT and ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University
NYSUT’s Education & Learning Trust (NYSUT ELT) and ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University have partnered to deliver an online graduate education program and Advanced Certificate programs to NYSUT and UFT members with flexible schedules at an affordable cost. NYSUT and UFT members can obtain a graduate degree and/or fulfill state certification requirements online.
ELT courses are offered online so students can complete the required courses in a few semesters or spread them over a longer period of time.
After completing the required course(s) with NYSUT with a B or better average, students formally apply to ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University for matriculation into one of the partnership programs.

Matriculating to ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ
If you are planning to matriculate at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University please contact: Graduate Admissions at admissions@mercy.edu.
After completing NYSUT course with a grade of B or above, students formally apply to ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University for matriculation in order to complete remaining requirements.
Courses through this program are less than half the price of tuition at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University. Once students have completed the courses through the NYSUT and apply to ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University, they can still receive a 33% discount on the standard tuition rates with their NYSUT and/or UFT membership.

- Click a session to see the course information.
- You can get a promocode for NYSUT members.
- For Enrollment Options, choose Graduate Credit-³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ if you intend to apply to ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University to finish the program.
- At the bottom of the screen you can click Enroll.
NYSUT/ELT Frequently Asked Questions
This is a discounted coursework pathway available for students who are members of NYSUT or UFT and planning to enroll at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University in one of our above listed Graduate Education programs. The pathway is designed to offer the first few courses of a Graduate program through Education & Learning Trust. These courses are offered at a discounted rate. Then, when you matriculate at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ, you will receive a separate discount of 33% of the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University Tuition. This discount will apply for the rest of your graduate program as long as you remain a member of NYSUT or UFT.

Yes, a Graduate application must be completed if you plan to matriculate into ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ to finish the full program and become certified. Submit your application and supplemental materials at: www.mercy.edu/apply.
You can apply to ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University during your final semester of your NYSUT ELT courses. For example, if you are taking Fall courses with ELT, you can submit a Graduate application to ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ for the following semester, which is Spring. You do not need to wait until final grades are received to begin the application process to ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ.
It is also okay to take a gap between the ELT courses and enrollment.
