About

Dr. Brusés received his PhD in neurobiology from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and conducted postdoctoral training at the University of Connecticut (UCONN) and at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Thereafter, he worked as a senior Scientist at the Sloan-Kettering Institute (MSKCC, SKI) in New York City. His research focuses on the role of cell adhesion molecules in neural development. He currently teaches Molecular and Cell Biology, Neuroscience, and Independent research. He is the Director of the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Research for Undergraduate (REU) in Neuroscience summer program in collaboration with Albert Einstein Medical College.
