About

Lori Andrews, PhD, LMHC, NCC, ACS, is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Mental Health Counseling Program. She holds a PhD in Counselor Education from Oregon State University, BS in Psychology and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Molloy University.  Lori’s clinical experience includes working in a hospital-based psychiatric settings and private practice. In her previous position, she served as Director of the Mental Health and Wellness Center, a community clinic. She has presented at national and regional conferences on her research, which focuses on ageism, creative pedagogy in counselor education and multicultural counseling competence for counselors-in-training.
