Mr. Russo has been an adjunct professor at �Թϱ��� University since 2007, teaching in both the Criminal Justice and Legal Studies programs.

Before his legal career, Mr. Russo was an officer with the NYPD. Following his retirement, he joined a reputable medical malpractice defense firm dedicated to defending doctors and medical facilities from lawsuits, and also operates a general practice law firm offering comprehensive legal assistance.

Mr. Russo is also a dedicated advocate for mental health and is actively involved as a peer counselor for POPPA (Police Officer Providing Peer Assistance) supporting NYPD officers and others with mental health needs.

As an educator, Mr. Russo has leveraged his 30 years of work and life experience to incorporate real-life thinking into the classroom, fostering an engaging and focused learning environment. He firmly believes that exposing students to everyday examples bolsters their understanding of the material, ability to relate to the subject matter on a personal level, and motivation to explore their full potential
